Aayush5

Feels stupid to write off Tsitipas now completely considering he took Novak 5 sets last meeting on clay. I think Nole is the unquestionable favorite but fatigue could easily allow Stef to make things interesting

FonkyMonk

And that Novak lost to Nadal in 3, 0-6 2-6 5-7. Tsitipas is only there to get an invite to Novak's grand slam reunion.

Grunge_bob

i love that tennis channel is replaying the zverev match and forgot to censor out zverev saying bullshit

happytothethird

Nadal fans, welcome to fed world! He lost on clay? Only 20? He lost vs him? Can't be the goat? This is what you've all sounded like for years. Humble down knees.

happytothethird

It's gonna be sweeter with headspace getting run around in the final.

happytothethird

Salty Sam in the house downvoting.

happytothethird

Let's see if Rafa has a spirited run like the goat did.

happytothethird

Couldn't take the cake on his best surface of 13 wins, and I'm getting downvoted.

lostinmoss

Just watched some of Chun Hsin Tseng's highlights from his challenger run this week. His game reminds me of ADF in a way. Weaker service game, defending far behind the baseline, decent variety, and random injections of pace. All he needs is a bit more power and a disregard for his physical safety. For anyone who doesn't know, he's a two time junior slam champion. He lost the junior AO final to Korda in 2018, before winning the junior RG and Wimbledon in the same year.

GhostofTeholnbugg

I'm so excited to see him making the late rounds of a challenger!

JashinSama46

Off-topic, but does anyone know why Basilashvili (#31) is in Halle qualies? The next best ranked player in the qualies is Giron (#75)

GhostofTeholnbugg

Probably missed the main draw entry time cutoff

whiny_little_baby

off-topic but is there no user flair for this subreddit?

lostinmoss

There is, just go to subreddit options and make your own.

whiny_little_baby

ok cool. looks like there should be icons popping up but maybe my phone just isn’t showing them on mobile.

lostinmoss

Hm, it works on mobile for me. Three dots in the top right corner on the front page of the subreddit. Might just be the mobile version being weird again

whiny_little_baby

yeah that’s what i tried. like, did you specifically type in “nexgen of the week” or was that already an option? cuz mine just shows a lot of blank space where there should be text or something. im sure it’ll work eventually.

lostinmoss

You have to type it in. Click "edit" in the top right of the change user flair page, and then click on one of the blank spaces to make your own. After that, you should be able to select it on the normal page.

whiny_little_baby

thank you 🙏 i appreciate you taking the time!

lostinmoss

No problem!

razorsharp3000

So Musetti took more sets against Djokovic than Nadal - who'd have thought that would happen?

Holy_Shamoley

Personally I believe that Djokovic is the most legendary tennis player ever. His determination and focus is unparalleled. Rafa and Federer are legends as well but there’s something about Novak that is just so remarkable.

loadfearless27

I agree and I’d put Nadal as second. Both have insane mental fortitude with Djokovic’s being a tad higher imo

eng_mj_517-1

I think the sentence “Djokovic is a better Nadal than Nadal” rather sums it up

AlwaysRepeat

Think he is gonna win all slams this year. Done for the first time since Lavar. Than it's undisputed.

gamelover99

It's frustrating being a Nadal fan sometimes. I wish I liked djokovic instead, he never gives his fans any heartbreaks.

Aayush5

I won't disagree entirely but I couldn't sleep for a few nights after he beat Nadal and lost to Wawrinka in the 2015 French final. We've had our fair share of bumps along the road, especially with early Djokovic

mrfatbush

Nadal played a really crazy set with thiem two years ago. Was today's 3rd set higher quality?

mrfatbush

Haven't followed the women's slam at all and just looking at the finalists now. What the...

MattGeddon

The WTA is insane. Someone will have a nice run and look like they’re going to be the next big thing, and then they just completely disappear and are replaced by four others seemingly at random! The unpredictability is pretty fun though, nice to have some variety from the men’s game which is really dominated by the top few players.

CH0S3N-0NE

To me this was Nadals first and only loss in form at the French. Injured in 2009, not in any sort of form 2015 (or 2016 for that matter even though he just withdrew). Just beating Nadal in an in form Nadal year is probably one of Noles biggest achievements ever, and honestly one of the biggest achievements in tennis history considering he'd never lost in form before.

Common_Ganache_8582

I think Tsitsipas has a good chance. He will be well rested.

GhostofTeholnbugg

He also played a nearly 4 hour match today. Not saying he doesn't have a chance, just think they will be similarly rested in two days

AlwaysRepeat

He played a 5 setter too? Think 3-1 Djokovic

loadfearless27

I hope Iga’s feeling better about her loss now that Rafa’s also out

Fernando_Avocado

Novak: Rafa, me and Roger are NextGen. Also Novak: I'm gone defeat you like I defeat next gen. (Sorry for the poor joke, this is something I had in my mind since that speech)

eng_mj_517-1

I think Djokovic could get a “next gen slam” this year Beats Medvedev in AO final Beats Tsitsipas in FO final Beats Zverev in Wimbledon final Beats Thiem in US Open final

GhostofTeholnbugg

Zverev will not make the Wimbledon final

MattGeddon

Zverev in the Wimbledon final, please no!

cippyFilmFan

One of them is not like the others

Common_Ganache_8582

Let's not stretch.

jack2047

Bruh I’m still in shock lol. Can’t believe the king of clay lost 😞

eng_mj_517-1

You know you’re fucked when Djokovic starts the “inverting colors” trick with the shirt Textbook move from AO final 2012 (still the greatest match between the pair)

eng_mj_517-1

Some technical points from today’s match (dunno if people already talked about it): Djokovic hit a lot to the backhand corner of Nadal (deuce court) in the middle-ish portion. This kinda constricted Nadal. Nadal wasn’t able to get those freewheeling forehands down the line that he usually uses to snuff out right handers Djokovic’s serving wasn’t great but boy that ace in the tie break was amazing Really thought Djokovic’s forehand miss when 5-4 30-0 up was going to cost him and it did affect him for a while but amazingly he put it out of his mind and won the tie break Nadal’s intensity dropped with time while Djokovic’s grew the moment he sensed Nadal’s vulnerability . They’re two incredible talents but you have to say Novak is just a shade ahead. Amazing match. Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Sunday

gotnegear

Heard a commentator mention how much more rpm Djokovic was putting on his shots, forehand especially. Apparently he was only 100rpm or so under Nadals average spin in some shots.

NewBang

LFG about time Nole beat rafa. probably a rare djokovic fan in here, but i put my money where my mouth is and voted for him that poll

MattGeddon

I voted for him as well but it was definitely more in hope than expectation. I really hope Stef hasn’t been on the phone to Stan tonight looking for tips.

eng_mj_517-1

I actually really wanted Djokovic to win but didn’t vote for him because I doubted him given his level of play in the warm up tournaments and the shaky performance against Berretini But the man proved me wrong and then some

eng_mj_517-1

People underestimate both the physical and mental toll that these epic semifinals take even on someone like Djokovic A few instances of an epic semi final costing Djokovic the final : Murray (RG 2015), Tsitsipas (RG 2020), Del Potro (Wimbledon 2013). Given Tsitsipas’ blistering form, Nole needs to play another blinder to win what would be his best grand slam triumph

GhostofTeholnbugg

So a few things: Tsitsipas also had an epic semi, Stef looked nervy and inconsistent for a big chunk of the semi, and Stef is a lesser player than Novak faced in any of those finals (except maybe Stan, but Stan played out of his fucking mind in 2015 RG). I think he's got a real chance but I think Novak could still win playing a good bit worse than today. And I don't think Stef wins unless he plays a LOT better than he did today.

westwo0d

btw, yesterday was the mixed doubles final. Last set was 10-5. How do they count in doubles?

slayer_of_potatoes

Final set is a match tiebreak. Just like a regular tiebreak but it's first to 10 instead of 7.

dryu12

Google supertiebreak.

hhh1001

Mixed doubles at all the slams except Wimbledon uses a super-tiebreaker for the final set. There are no games played in the final set other than the super-tiebreaker, which works just like a tiebreaker at the end of normal set except it's first to 10 points and win by 2 points, rather than first to 7 points and win by 2 points. Mixed doubles at Wimbledon still uses an advantage set for the final set, where it's first to 6 games and win by 2 games.

Xehanz

Nole winning the Golde Slam this year

Zero_dimension98

Sunday's final is going to be great, it is not a given. Of course I still expect Djokovic to win, but it'll require a lot of work. In case he wins I expect someone to edit the 'Let's for the RG title' in Belgrade and him winning.

TezRoll

Anyone else so bored of the ‘pivotal moment in the greatest of all time’ comments that have been cropping up for basically the last 4 years of big tree matches? Just tiresome. Going the same way as the Ronaldo messi debate when we should be celebrating all 3

Big_Accident577

I feel exhausted, and it's 6:38 pm in this part of the world, and I didn't even play a point.

MoreDblRainbows

Maybe I get a dream of Djokovic winning the last three of the year and passing Fedal and Serena winning the US Open as well for 24. What an amazing time it would be in New York with full fans!!!

Xehanz

Forget about it. If he manages to win all 3 slams+tokio he would become the undisputable best male player of all time right? Most weeks at N1, most grand slams and the only male player to achieve a golde slam.

[deleted]

Given the context of the male era, I think if he beats Tsitsi tomorrow, he is the goat at this point in time (Which sure may not mean that much because it could change in the next few months but still). Being 1 GS behind Fed/Nadal is negligible, especially considering that he would do something the other 2 haven't done ever: Win at least 2 of each GS. not to mention beating a prime Nadal at the French Open and beating him 3-1. This is potentially a record that will never be repeated, you never know.

knightofren_

Hold all 4 slams at the same time, career golden masters, h2h.. he has quite a list of goat arguments to his name to have 1-2 grand slams in total count tarnish it

mu7x

As a Fedal fan I'm so stocked Djokovic won

mu7x

I forgot the /s

krirkrirk

Your guy still holds most slams though

Vasst13

Would Zverev have been a better matchup for Nole in the final? Not that it matters much but just for the sake of the argument

MoreDblRainbows

100 percent yes.

Vasst13

Ah I didn't phrase my question correctly. That means you think Zverev would've been easier or harder?

MoreDblRainbows

Zverev is a better match up for Djoker imo so easier.

limeinator123

A moment of silence for me who couldn’t watch the match. Can anyone tell me how it was? 2013 French Open level?

lostinmoss

Maybe in the third, but the rest was a lower level than that. Still incredibly good though

_RegulatoR_

maybe in the third, trick??? the 3rd set was THE best ever set played on clay, no doubt anout it!!!

whiny_little_baby

agreed. 3rd set was easily an all-timer

lostinmoss

Idk, I felt like there were a lot of errors. Maybe thats just me, but I feel like 2013 was higher quality.

[deleted]

when neither player can hold their own serve, i feel the quality isnt amazing

DarthPlagueis_

This is like truly an all time monumental sports moment. Like literally insane.

k1ngn1kola

Sheesh, I know I'm gonna take my time to slooowly digest the weight of this win. It feels surreal at the moment and I love it. Thank you Nole... for everything.

Falz4567

Let’s stir the pot. If Novak wins Sunday. He the GOAT? I think he takes home the farm animal. A double career slam and weeks at no 1 is worth more than 1 slam

whiny_little_baby

so do players and fans put a lot of stock in the rankings? i was a big roddick fan and now mainly watch the slams but i don’t think i’ve ever paid much attention to rankings. not hating, just curious.

MattGeddon

It’s one factor amongst many, but to be #1 for so long in an era with Federer and Nadal playing is not an easy feat and shows how consistent he’s been for the last decade.

bharathbunny

IMO, he's already the GOAT. Federer never beat Nadal at the French, and Novaks dominance on other surfaces cancels out Rafas clay court dominance. Now it's just a matter of time till he gets to 20.

krirkrirk

Agreed. His 2015 victory is always considered a "fraud" since Nadal wasn't healthy. Won't be brought up anymore

DarthPlagueis_

Wait ‘til he ties at Wimbledon and people will certainly need to have the convo

TheWinterLand

I just got back from work. Anybody know where I can watch the full replay in the US?

HarukiMuracummy

The fact that Tsitsipas is the only next gen player to beat any of the big 3 at a slam (he has done it twice - to Nadal and Federer) and has the chance to be the first one to beat ALL THREE whille securing his first grand slam title is amazing. There are great narratives all around this match.

gdakram

Gonna be rooting so much for Stefanos!

DownWthisSortOfThing

Djokovic is going to win the calendar year Grand Slam this year, isn't he? And with the Olympics, he might even make it a Golden Slam.

MattGeddon

Favourite for Wimbledon no doubt but Sunday will be tough and there’s plenty who can challenge him in the US.

GhostofTeholnbugg

Yup

roboticninjafapper

i remember this conversation in 2015 about him winning everything... until the Stan happened

GhostofTeholnbugg

Tsitsipas is probably a better player overall than Stan, but it seems very unlikely he'll be able to put together a match like the RG 2015 Stan final tomorrow. I think people are getting ahead of themselves talking about a calendar year slam though

roboticninjafapper

Stan won an AO before RG15. Stef is in his first final, and I don’t think he can just turn beastmode like Wawrinka that day. Still cautiously optimistic tho

_RegulatoR_

A little different cirumstances, since then he completed all GS, he's got 18 slams, and most likely #19 tomorrow, so nothing to prove to anyone but just focus on breaking every single relevant record. He pretty much owns them all, number of weeks as no1, masters tied with Rafa (but comoleted all of them - TWICE!!!), and on sunday it will be a double titles on ALL GS! So i woukd say - sky is the limit, tje only person that can stop him now is himself!

lastofoblivion

Rafa being so graceful even when under defeat is sending me to weeping. I’m crying loads. My champion. So proud to be his fan. I can feel he struggled right after that second set but he stayed relentless and fought on. Until the very end he did his best even when it wasn’t enough. I still love you, Rafa! VAMOS MY KING!!!!

[deleted]

To the public eye definitely, i can't imagine how pissed off/sad he will be off the court lol. This should be business as usual for Nadal, the fact it's not means he has to wait until 2022 for a grand slam where he is the undisputed favourite. Because he's not the wimbledon favourite, he's probably not the US open favourite, and he's definitely not the Australian Open favourite. Slams for the big 3 matter so much now that everything counts.

No wonder you’re miserable. Have strength.

lastofoblivion

Bro, why are you so pressed? 🤣

Falz4567

Look at history. The silly buggers bet it all on Bitcoin

parsonsparsons

Fuck you

Perfect_Hamster_5033

Fuck you, you piece of shit.

thebigkiwi_12

Rafa: "My opportunities to win here are not eternal. In our sport, you must admit both victory and defeat. I do know that I can't win the tournament 15, 18, 20 times. It's not a disaster at all." (in Spanish)

tom6195

This is why we love this guy

volleyofdeath

He probably will win it 15 times tho

tom6195

Nah I think 13 is probably it, and it’s still a damn fine achievement

[deleted]

I know people might not believe me on this, but I had a feelign Novak would beat him him here, likewise, I also feel someone will topple Novak at 2022 AO. Win streaks are amazing, building them up to Novak's amazing 9-0 finals at AO, Rafa's 13-0, it's a great story, but it's even greater when they are finally defeated. It means so much more.

loadfearless27

I mean people thought similarly in 2015-2016 tho

cippyFilmFan

Who's the biggest Tsitsi fan on Sunday?

tom6195

Right here dude 🙋🏼‍♂️

Muffinfeds

Rog and Rafa and it doesn't come close.

chrysoberyyll

Man, today was utter shit except for Tsitsi winning and Rafa didn’t help :(

lostinmoss

If it helps at all, Swiatek made it to the doubles final, which is pretty cool

chrysoberyyll

True, but she just beat Irina Begu in the semis and my Romanian heart hurts .. still rooting for her tho!

tom6195

At 35, Rafa can still sleep at night knowing he won RG 13 times _and_ that is something that will *never* be repeated

[deleted]

He can still win it next year lol; he's like 90% favoured in my opinion. This is just a one off result guys. Novak played amazing, obviously, but you can't go against Rafa at pretty much any clay event. He's way too good. Until he starts consistently losing, he will always be the favorite.

Ok_Tea_7348

Yes, but he won't as he is a winner and they don't think like that until they retire.

tom6195

Yeah true. He could retire this year though and I’m sure he wouldn’t lose sleep over today’s loss when he looks back at his career overall. It was never about being the GOAT the Rafa he just wants to try his best every time he goes out and court and show love and respect to the game.

thombo-1

No one can argue he's the god of the surface. I mean he should take it as a compliment that Djokovic and his fans are counting this as such a huge win.

[deleted]

This is such an insane win, I know the 2015 loss to Novak leaves a sour taste in peopel's mouths, and honestly it should, it wasn't Nadal's prime condition, but this win is the most legitimate loss since he lost to Soderling, imo.

thombo-1

Absolutely. Fair and square. It might even help Rafa next year, who knows...I feel like now the record is a little less crazy there won't be so much pressure weighing on his shoulders. It's sometimes healthy to lose and if anyone can find motivation from defeat it's Nadal.

GhostofTeholnbugg

I still can't believe he did it. Holy shit.

lostinmoss

Bernie actually fucking won.

GhostofTeholnbugg

You're the funniest

Jeffersons_Mammoth

I could not be more excited for the Djokovic/Tsitsipas final on Sunday. The one thing that both players have in common is an iron will. Djokovic clawed his way out of a 5-0 deficit in the 1st to win against Nadal, and Tsitsipas managed to hold serve at love in the 5th against Zverev. These guys just don't quit, and it's going to be a very entertaining match.

HelloSidney13

Won’t even be close. The Greek will bottle it, Novak in straights.

[deleted]

I like Tsitsi, but it would be so underwhelming for me if he were to win it, just because of the records Novak is able to set tomorrow. -Winning every slam at least twice (1st of the big 3 to do that, huge record) -Beating Nadal in a semi final at RG -Beating Nadal TWICE at RG, only player to do that. -Win 19 grand slams (3rd person to do this)

HelloSidney13

Exactly. If Novak does it, it will be history. Also looking ahead, the hardest double to achieve is RG and Wimbledon… if he does that then tied for 20 and who knows where that would lead him with a record breaking 21st GS AND the calendar GS to make him the undisputed GOAT.

[deleted]

Mister_Lizard

Are any of them even slightly religious?

aungkon123

Credit where credit is due - Djokovic. Its a privilege to watch him be the hero, anti hero and surpass all humanly expectations. As a Federer fan I wish he wins all 4 this year although will be rooting against him doing it. But deep down I maybe am a Nole and Rafa fan as well. Today was the true Battle of Winterfell we were promised.

mu7x

Lol the number of fake 'as a federer/nadal' fan comments

aungkon123

You know not everyone is same and people think and feel differently. I dont give two cents about what a shit federer fan says or any other shitty guy like you thinking the world is either his group vs. other groups when even the concept of group does not exist. Try to broaden your perspective and get some brain cells working. Will help you in future.

Bakasur279

I was scared Rafa would destroy my boy Stefanos badly, still there.

upamanyu33

Kyrgios in absolute shambles

[deleted]

LOL don't give that clown any attention.

fthenetcord

Rafa's reaching the end of his career sadly...at least he got to match Fed's record :/

fedfan4life

Rafa could still win RG 2 more times imo. It took Djokovic at his very best to take him down this year.

Ractivv

Sadly, l agree

kittykats1

Guys I have a very GENUINE question: why is RG only showing pieces of the players press conference? Picking and choosing the answers. I cant find the whole interviews on YouTube and its crazy. For example they tactically removed a piece when Meddie was talking about Amazon f the schedule up

jungofficial

RG media is not very good. And that's being nice about it.

kittykats1

Interesting! Its crazy u cant even hear the questions

jungofficial

Tsitsipas has beaten Djokovic twice, with both victories on hard courts. Novak leads the H2H 5-2, but Tsitsipas has won set(s) in 4/7 of their matches. For Djokovic to turn up on Sunday with the same level as today would be crazy (he was *that* good today) but shouldn't be unexpected. That being said, I still think this is a golden opportunity for Tsitsipas to win his first slam. Djokovic is a GOAT, maybe *the* GOAT, but he's also 34 and could be hit off the court even in his prime (something old man Rafa couldn't manage today). Your chances don't get much better than that rather than waiting a few more years for further decline. 70/30 Djokovic. A peaking Tsitsipas *can* do damage if the Curse of Nadal kicks in and today's Novak says bye-bye.

[deleted]

Job is definitely not finished for Novak. He has to go through Tsitsi and I have a feeling it will be rough. I'm sure he will take on board the wisdom from his mentor Kobe.

Muffinfeds

Thiem took 3 GS finals to win his first Grand Slam. I feel like Titsi will be the same.

Vqwertbnm

It's nice that they play that extra match on Sunday where the RG Champion Novak plays against the winner of the baby tournament Tsitsipas

gkmaster21

you joke but Soderling and Djokovic beat Nadal before in RG and lost in the final. It's hard to reset mentally. This time I think Djokovic's determination will be too much for Tsitsipas tho.

Vqwertbnm

Soderling played Fed in the Final and Djokovic played Wawrinka

clarastan

I need to stop betting on those Reddit predictions. I was wrong for all of them, I thought betting on Nadal would redeem my horrible predictions but I feel like I jinxed it haha

bjworthy93

I honestly believe Novak will win all four slams this year. He just did the impossible and beat Nadal mentally and physically at his home turf. No way in hell will Novak allow the Next gen to beat him. He’ll be the goat in September with slam #21.

[deleted]

The greatest positive for me this tournament is I think I found my new guy once Feds done and that's Musetti

Last_Lorien

Well that’s quite an upshot!

yoyoface22

Does anyone think Rafa looked a bit ill today? While he played some incredible tennis he seemed off. I've been watching him for over twenty years and today he looked tired.

KartoshkaKing

4th set he lost his legs. But the rest of the match, especially the third set, he looked fit.

Falz4567

He’s 35. He’s old. It’s stupid he could play that well for 4 hours.

DetectiveMonogopolis

Took his strapping off his ankle mid in the 4th and was kicking his shoe where his special innersole is too. That's why he called the Dr out.

zacharius55

Plot twist: Nadal wins Wimbledon 2021😴 💭

[deleted]

pickedupapen

Come on man the guy’s won 97% of all the matches he’s ever played at RG how is this gonna tarnish that lol

Falz4567

Does a tick tarnish a Rhino? Not really no

HowsYourMethod

The ball striking in the 3rd was like what a tennis anime would look like

gkmaster21

I thought there was no way for Djokovic to lose Wimbledon and the #20 slam if he wins RG but seeing how demanding it's been for him I think he won't reset in time for Wimbledon, which starts in 2 weeks this year. Anything can happen in Wimbledon. If Djokovic wins both RG and Wimbledon the calendar golden slam talk will be on. Massive pressure but hard to bet against him in that situation. GOAT status is there for Djokovic. He won the hardest match needed to achieve that.

Nikolaz3

Literally, taking a set from Rafa in Roland Garros seems unachievable, beating Rafa here is something else

jack2047

Does Rafa have any chance at Wimbledon or US Open? I can’t see it. The next gen is getting better and better and he’s just not the same on those surfaces.

[deleted]

He has a better chance if Fed is not on his game at Wimby. I think Novak is the clear favorite obviously, but the young guys are not that good on that surface. Thiem is terrible, Medvedev isn't that amazing, Tsitsipas either, like the only obstacle for Nadal is Novak and an in form Federer. US Open i give him a better chance, but the young guys at USO are really tough,

LeoMarius

It's hard to tell because the last time he played either was in 2019. Two years is a long time in tennis.

lastofoblivion

Man, I’m already dreading all the BS and arrogance coming from Novak’s camp. I like the guy but his team and father can be such a turn off.

Ok_Tea_7348

I'm one of the very early Novak fans and even met him once, great guy, but his father is really something and nobody likes him. His coach Vajda is also great.

DetectiveMonogopolis

As the match progressed his team 1 by one started taking their masks off, whilst the ball kids and spectators all had theirs on. Should have chucked them all out.

TezRoll

its why he is a bad ambassador for the sport

yoyoface22

I really don't think rafa was well today. From the start of the match he looked off...even though some of his shots were mind blowing.

gkmaster21

Well, he is old. He can't play peak Rafael Nadal tennis all the time at his age. It will only get harder now, week after week.

lastofoblivion

Rafa has been pretty inconsistent but not injured. His physicality’s coming from age.

sumu11

do you guys think stefanos has a chance?

dryu12

I'd say he has a better chance with Novak than with Nadal.

curious_trq

Only thing can be Novak's fatigue which is unlikely. At this point don't see Stef with a lot of chance but hopefully would be a good final. something like Stef vs Djokovic last year semi

MattGeddon

I also worry that Novak will have seen today as the biggest challenge and he’ll be a bit mentally switched off for the final. Like after he won the Noleslam in 2016 and then completely flunked at Wimbledon to Querrey a few weeks later.

ProfessionalCornToss

No.

pingpongplayas

Novak is the greatest athlete i've seen as a millennial

LeoMarius

He could pass Nadal and Federer this year. If he wins on Sunday, he'll be at 19 GS titles, and he'll be the favorite at Wimbledon and the US. He would have been at 19 already if he hadn't screwed up last year's US Open.

MattGeddon

He has nobody to blame but himself for the US default but he could end up regretting Wimbledon being cancelled last year.

Single-Season-5829

He didn't screw anything man, he clearly got robbed.

LeoMarius

He cavalierly hit a ball that hit someone. He got exactly what was merited.

pingpongplayas

Thats true!! He should really going for the GS record on Sunday

slowjuve

Guys..... is it really possible NOW for Novak to win all the slams this year? Can he??? Can he??????

MattGeddon

One step at a time. It’s possible but he has to beat Tsitsipas first and the US Open is always unpredictable for some reason.

knightofren_

Hope u didn't jinx it

slowjuve

Sorry I couldn't just keep it in I had to let it out haha he's incredibly insane I'd sure love to see it!!
