Does anybody know of any official NFT's Tennis Player Related ? I would love to be able to get something official, we get only memes for now specially on OGN. Some really serious Tennis Player NFT would sell for millions and that's a fact in my opinion.
Haven't seen this posted yet, but got an email this morning:
"The US Open is Open

Thursday, July 15 at noon ET.
Presale tickets are available exclusively for American Express ® Card Members beginning Monday, July 12 at 9 AM ET and ending Wednesday, July 14 at 8 PM ET"
If you don't have an Amex card and want to sign up to get early access, feel free to PM me for referral link, there are some great signup bonus offers right now.
I posted it earlier so I’d imagine it’s pretty far down. Exciting times!!
How far can Thiem go in Wimbledon?
Even in his peak years he has made 4R one time. The rest have been first or second round losses.
Given his current problems, I think winning a couple matches would be a good accomplishment.
He “can” go all the way. He “will” go three, maybe four rounds.
That’s my worst fear , but his strokes have good power , if he finds his groove again , then maybe he doesn’t get an early exit 😭?
Tbh of the high profile withdrawals today, Osaka has made the least impact to me. She hasn't been a factor on the clay or grass in the previous years either so it just plays out as continuation of the norm.
On a personal level, I hope this extended break from competition is what she needed for a return to the HC season.
Never bet on tennis before, but glanced at the sites... can I bet on Nadal not winning? Seems he’s still 7:1 so that’s free 12.5%
Sure. Just bet on the 127 guys in the draw not named Nadal. Free money!
>Never bet on tennis before
Never a better time than now to not start
They just delete the bet and give you your money back.
>Roger Federer: "It seems it's all about Grand Slam titles nowadays and I don't like that. When I came on the tour, it wasn't just about the Slams.....The Slams have certainly given me a lot, and they offer tennis a big stage but after my 15th I didn't really care whether I had 15, 16, 17 or 18."
Says the guy who pulls out of a Grand Slam to preserve himself for… the next Grand Slam.
I love Federer and always will but man he can be a salty loser, and especially when it comes to the subject of Novak. I think he’ll be genuinely happy if (maybe “when”) Nadal breaks his record, but be upset when (not an “if”) Novak does.
Total bollocks. He only "doesn't care" because Novak is breaking all his records
Fuck’s sake, now Thiem dropped out of the Olympics
Really?? Damn. Looks like he’s focusing on defending his USO title
That seems to be his goal since that’s what he said in his Insta post .. I really hope he at least goes far there, he’s had such a sad season :(
Considering how horribly his season has gone that’s probably for the best. Defending his US open title should be the #1 priority especially if he doesn’t do well in Wimbeldon.
Yeah, just hope he’s physically and mentally all right
It's Djokovic against the field. The field will depend on the draw realistically. Someone like Medvedev or Tsitsipas, maybe Cilic or Berrettini will be the favorite from the bottom half of the draw
if you mean odds maker's betting favorite, it's probably going to be Federer by default.
I was about to say Zverev then remembered the last wimbledon he lost in 1R to 2x 4R contender Jiri Vesely
There is no second favourite. The next gen all did terribly in 2019. Their priority should be making it past round 1.
How many freak accidents can Goffin get? Poor guy
he had quite a good grass season he was defending too :(
What happened now?
And now he is out of Wimbledon
Brutal. That tumble into the tarp on the clay he took kept him out for months. It took him a long time to regain his ranking.
Wimbledon is one thing, but I'm still just shocked Nadal even pulled out of the Olympics? It's every 4 years AND he loves playing for Spain - maybe he equates it to Davis Cup (which would also be a stretch given individual vs team) but he likely won't get another Olympics in his career. Feels like something big is up - hope he doesn't suddenly reveal he's getting some procedure done.
He's already won gold. Really doesn't add much to his legacy if he gets another whereas Djokovic and Federer still don't have one in singles.
The Olympics is half way around the world in Tokyo... There's that, plus whatever covid restrictions they have. I know they require players to be vaccinated I think?
Doesn't make sense if he's preparing for US Open
They are not requiring people to be vaccinated but the bubble is going to be super strict and they will be testing every day.
I'm taking his tweet chain at face value and don't see a reason not to.
No idea how Meddy is third favourite for Wimbledon
Better than him being seeded second in Paris!
I can't tell if you think that's too high or too low.
Think it’s a tad too high, obviously he can go on a run but he hasn’t really ever shown he’s a grand slam winning quality on grass. I know he reached the semi at Queens a couple years ago but he struggled against Struff the other day and hasn’t beat anyone that stands out on grass.
Think Berretini, Tsitsipas, Novak and even Federer even though he hasn’t played much tennis are definitely better equipped to win it. Think I’d even fancy Cilic in this form or Felix to beat him atm. Although he surprised me in Paris so I’m sure he can surprise me here as well.
I think it’s because he made it to round 3 in 2019 when the other next gen failed to make past round 1 that year he also surprised people at the French so people might be expecting the same thing at Wimbeldon also he’s going to be the No.2 seed so he’s guaranteed an easy draw.
It's a chance for greater than casual fans to look at Cilic or Tsitsipas to make a good deal on a wager.
Yeah Cilic at 66/1 is great value
He likes fast surfaces
I got Tsisipas as 3rd.
Watching this Korda vs. Nishikori match and it's really sunk in how much Halle needs to fix their lighting for TV.
Or just show the tennis from a lower angle.
Naomi out for Wimbledon :(
But redoubled her commitment to play in Olympics! A better consolation tbh, her playing in Tokyo for Japan is huge.
If I'm reading the rankings right, thanks to withdrawals from Nadal, Goffin, Wawrinka, and Coric, one more withdrawal and the next seeded player at Wimbledon would be...**Marin Cilic**!
(Though maybe he can punch his ticket with a win tomorrow, not totally clear)
Novak shudders at the thought of Cilic
I feel very sad when I think that Thiem will get out of Wimbledon r1 again and get even more depressed
Maybe it's upside down year and Thiem will get to the QFs a Wimbledon like Medvedev got to the QFs at the French
Well Halle is Rublev’s to lose. QC is more of a toss up but I think Berrettini will win
isnt faa in halle?
How dare you disrespect former Halle camp Philipp Kohlschreiber like that.
Kohly looked good yesterday!
The Lion Tamer
I need to ask Kostyuk to my flair. Lol.
The drama she’s bringing this match. Love it
Shes pissed cos she's getting so good on hard, can't quite convert it to grass, yet...
How did Kostyuk make that?
Kasatkina will win this match but kostyuk will have all the highlight reels
and she did it again...
Dasha's swinging motion is just gorgeous.
Despite some lamenting about early losses, I think all of the QFs in London look fun. Berrettini v. Evans is power v. craftiness; De Minaur fighting Cilic on a comeback run; All-Surface GOAT Cam Norrie vs. British NextNextGen Star Draper; and Big Foe v. Shapovavalovalov. Not a boring match in sight!
Shapo for the title I am hoping
Damn wish I had the ability to watch that match. F'ing work expecting me to do things.
BIG FOE = Tiafoe?
Never heard that nickname. Regardless, He looked solid and confident out there. Between him, Korda and the serve bots, America has some men to root for going into Wimbledon.
Yup, it's his nickname. "Big foe come up" is a common cheer for him :).
Hell yea. I think his challenger win before this tournament gave him a lot of confidence.
Kostyuk to her coach: "I dont want to play on this surface. You want to roll around in the soil, like dog?"
Enjoying Kasatkina Kostyuk match... Complete contrasting personalities and some great rallies
Kasatkina looks good.
Kostyuk is a bit tentative on the grass. To be fair, shes not experienced on it.
Kostyuk/ Kasatkina anyone?? Neither of them can buy a first serve but it’s fine- some great shot making and angles from both!
I don't like Basilashvili 😖
Rinder had set points. Today’s not my day.
No need to stress! Cant have it all! I really appreciate your effort and time giving out picks.
He takes too big of a swing on the grass
Black woe you a freak bro I still got you
Yooooo basil in the house
Ughhh the Rafa news is such a bummer. I'm a bit concerned that this was serious enough that he withdrew from the Olympics, damn - he loves playing for Spain.
I'm now more hopeful for the U.S. Open though. That's the silver lining.
Hopefully! Still has those title points to defend there...
Tomorrow in the tabloids: Shapo ABUSES Old Man for the Second Time in Two Weeks
I'm looking at tickets for the US Open now that they announced 100% fan capacity. Anyone know why Stubhub currently lists tons of tickets available if they don't go on sale for the public until July?
bump to this question if someone could please answer
We know Basilashvili can be streaky. We’ve seen it a few times this match already. It’s painful to see Rinder not solidifying those opportunities though. I truly believe this is Rinder’s match to win. He needs to calm down. Hold his service games steady. And take those opportunities. Once he breaks and gets a hold, I think he runs away with this.
Told you rinder is trash
Better make your own picks then mate.
He has the ability but his body language isn't showing much positivity, I think Basilashvili will break next game
edit: got him
Have to respect Martincova. Grinding her way up the rankings, into the top 100 and beyond.
Penko probably can't wait for Wimbledon to be over already. Garbage.
Judging by the pattern on this match, Penko (now 2 breaks down, playing garbage) will storm back to win it.
She deserves to lose though.
Ostapenko, under no pressure in the rally, does a drop shot from the baseline that doesn't even reach the net.
My face, with a bet on her: 😑
I don't know whos gonna win this - but whoever does, they will probably get their ass kicked in the next round.
Most grass court wins (tour level), ATP players under age 30
38 Tomic (14 at Wimbledon)
25 Zverev (8)
22 Kyrgios (13), Kudla (6)
18 Vesely (12), Pouille (8), Medvedev (5)
15 Berrettini (4)
(before Halle and Queen's Club QFs)
What a fucking terrible list 😂
Humbert, Sinner, Medvedev, Tsisipas, Berrettini - sort it out, guys...
To be fair to Humbert and Sinner, I think they've played like 10 tour level grass matches combined
Tomic really likes mowing the lawn huh
Ah yes the real next gen: Tomic, Kudla, Vesely, and Pouille
I hate Zverev, there I said it.
OOL why does everyone hate him?
Read this and you’ll know why lots of people hate him, credible domestic abuse allegations
A popular unpopular opinion indeed
see a counsellor.
The seeds at Halle have been trashed.
Remember it's an ATP 500, so Bweh automatically takes it...😑
:) He is the last seed standing for now.
When Basilashvili is firing he's a sight to behold
I am expecting Penko to ask the Ump to have this match decided by 'Trial by Combat'
Just secured tickets for Wimbledon! Extremely excited, first Thursday court number 1 :)
I wonder if I'll be able to roam the smaller/practice courts what with the covid measures
Not a good week for the veterans. Federer, murray and lopez all with disappointing losses
I think Rinder is just overwhelmed and is shell shocked. Not at all that surprising being a youngster against Basilashvili. But I think once he settles in he can play his own game and challenge Basil.
So I’ll be patient. Rinder can do it.
He won’t win
I disagree. Heard that hot analysis when I had Felix to beat Federer too.
well you were wrong... and having faa beating fed is not such an impressive call. i picked faa winning that too.
Rinder is trash man
Penko-Martincova is the archetypal WTA grass match:
a) Both players would rather be on hard court
b) Rubbish shots followed up by brilliant ones
c) Favourite plays like crap, only to suddenly turn it around when needed
Wimbledon is actually her most consistent slam (I know that’s not saying much). She’s reached a QF and SF 2 of the last 3 times, and is also a junior champ there
Bizarre when you compare it to her current play. Her footwork was rubbish, shanked so many makeable shots long /wide.
You also described 95% of Ostapenko matches.
Edit: whoops, not her first match on grass.
Here's some commentary from @AnnaK_4ever 😂
Ostapenko serving at 1-1 in 3rd set.
Dumps FH into net, says to her box: "That's it. I'm retiring."
Hits BH CC winner, screams "Come on!"
Hits BH CC winner, screams "Come on!"
Dumps FH into net, says to her box: "That's it. I'm retiring."
infinite loop alert
Penko can play on any surface (if she really wants to that is).
I know she won the French, but I think hard court is her best surface. She needs to work on her footwork for grass.
Well, it’s safe to say Basilashvili, not a streaky player at all, will certainly sweep the rest of the draw in Halle, then lose his next 4 first round matches in straight sets before winning the US Open against Djokovic in 3.
It’s not safe to say that at all actually.
Hence the joke, he’s completely unpredictable.
I stopped reading after sweeping halle comment tbh. my mistake.
don't reply to a comment you didn't read
Why is Shapo playing Bastad? Surely he should be prepping for the olympics on hard court, right?
Damn so Korda has a chance of making it to the semis, I guess
Nice job Shapo!
Basilashvili is not that far behind Berretini insofar as who has the biggest forehand on tour. And it’s not like he’s super tall or has a freakish wingspan. It’s a joy to watch when he’s hitting the ball well.
Great win for shapo
Shape! Shape! Shape!
Ostapenko woke up...
Martincova was extremely passive in that set just waiting for Penko to self destruct. Hope she starts playing aggressive.
Shapo has been serving so well on grass wow 🌱😍
Shapo vs Feli is like 'Chad vs Dad'. 😬 I'll see myself out now. 😔
Watching YES Network's ten best men ever is frustrating. They pretend the pro slams didn't even exist. What a farce.
In 2019, Pliskova:
* Won Brisbane (hard)
* Won Rome (clay)
* Won Eastbourne (grass)
* Reached the final of Miami
* Reached the SF of the AO, losing to Osaka, the eventual winner
2020 and 21, in her prime, should be some of the best years of her career.
But what's actually happening is she fucking limps around the court while getting destroyed by mid ranked players. One in particular, has made her her bitch.
It's not like losing matches she shouldn't lose is anything new, but...her tennis is completely devoid of consistency and belief now.
Such a strange player. She will remain enignatic as she heads towards her twilight. 99% sure she's never going to win a slam now.
Sacha Bajin working his usual magic 😒 let's see who will be his next victim...
I mean, Osaka won slams under him, but she might have done that anyway.
He does seem to go through players quite quickly.
Pliskova should go back to her 2019 coach.
Pliskova is such a bizarre player. Equally capable of deep runs or early exits. Her form mid-match is erratic too.
Wtf is Ostapenko doing??????
I can't watch it. What's happening?
Losing like, really losing, falling so many services, like (???)
The moment I lose faith in her, she breaks.
Same ahah, hopefully she wins this set!
Pegula's number of tour-level grass-court wins in her whole career: 2.
Pegula's number of tour-level Ka Pliskova wins since March: 4.
So weird seeing two of the only left handed OHBH players in the top 100 battling against each other.
Really brilliant match from Humbert.
Zverev will be disappointed there but 38 winners, 10 UEs, 20 aces and no DFs means there’s a lot of positives for him to take away today.
Zverev is just so passive, he only started playing aggressively when it was far too late. His forehand is also completely exposed on grass. He needs to get a new game plan if he wants to do well at Wimbeldon.
Humbert sweetie you're doing amazing
Pegula is 4-0 over Pliskova and that's all happened this year.
She might be singlehandedly ruining Pliskova's confidence lol
once again i am wondering how long pliskova will keep bajin around
Aren’t we all?🤷♀️
Am I doing the analogies right?
Ugo might be the only next gen’s prince of grass.
Pegula-pliskobot is going to be the next Serena-Sharapova.
Pegula owns the bot
Hoping for Murray v Djokovic 1R Wimbledon 😂🤣
I would root for Murray hard in that.
Murray v Federer*
That would be tasty. Murray out for some revenge.
Also possible, I'd take that!!!
Wow, Shapo is on fire!
Shapo must be having a blast. For once, he is the one who simply needs to feed balls and watch the opponent miss
I thought the cops showed up at the Shapo match but it was just the linespeople changing
Humbert vs Korda should be a great match
What a performance from Humbert!
Am sorry Humbert, I was sorta disrespectful to you during the clay court swing 😔
Ugo, great job!!
Ugo new king of grass I said what I said
Grass king here to take some scalps.
lmao zverev always has the saltiest handshakes after losing
You could really see the hatred when he embraced Tsitsipas in Paris...
He always tries to smother Thiem with a hug! You wouldn’t believe it.
Yeeees Ugo ! Only saw the last 2 sets, but there were amazing shots (and even rallies) from him. Could be tough R3 or R4 at Wimbledon for some top 10 players who aren't too comfortable on grass
Wow, Mike from Stranger Things doing well.
Go Humbert!! Go Humbert!!
Ugo you beautiful bastard thanks for serving it out this time
